Chapter 1577  Do Not Open I

Boom!

A powerful explosion shook the seas, and the impact obliterated the mountains.

A domineering figure stood in the sky, faced with five people, three with wings on their backs. They were not like humans, as they gave off a powerful yet soothing aura.

"Demon King, go back to the Netherworld. The Human world is no place for you." One of the winged men said.

"Hmph!" The figure addressed as the Demon King snorted coldly.

He had a devilishly handsome face, and his body was blood red. With a height of over six feet, his well-built muscles contracted as if waiting to explode with frightening power. Two short dark horns were on his head, and his long red hair fell on his back. His lower body was covered with black flames, leaving his upper body bare.

He stood fearlessly before these five people, showing no sign of backing down.

"Go back to that pit you came from as well. You want to chase me away from the Human World, yet you feel you should be allowed to stay." The Demon King sneered, "Pathetic. Even if your Lord returns, he's not qualified to force me away."

The winged man who spoke earlier wore an annoyed expression, he wanted to retort, but he couldn't. This was because their Lord was the first person the Demon King kicked out of the Human World.

Seeing his cold expression, the Demon King laughed, "Get the f*ck out of here before I kill you."

"You can try." The winged man was infuriated, but he didn't attack.

Of the three winged men, one wore a crown, and it was clear that his status was not low, "Why do you have to be so brutal? This is the reason you were chased to the Netherworld."

"Don't talk shit with me. I'll return sooner or later, tell the old man to keep my seat warm." The Demon King struck out as he spoke.

Black flames shot at the group of winged men.

The winged man who wore a crown frowned lightly and joined forces with the other two to block the attack. The attack forced them back, but they managed to stop it.

The other two people, who hadn't moved all this time, opened their mouths and started speaking in a strange language.

Seeing them, the Demon King was annoyed and slashed his hand at them. His hand turned into a giant claw that swiped at the duo.

At the same time, the hand turned to a large claw, the pair finished muttering what they were saying, and a bright light appeared in front of them. An extensive array with multiple lines intersecting appeared and shot out streams of golden arrows at the large claw.

The claw broke through the arrows, and the array in front of them shattered like glass. The claw didn't stop after it broke the array, it continued and hit the duo, who could not escape in time.

The claw sent the pair crashing to the ground, blood filling the air as their bodies flew through.

When the duo hit the ground, the three winged men returned. The one with a crown looked at the Demon King with an unsightly expression.

The Demon King was too strong!

The Demon King laughed arrogantly, "Haha! Are you feeling despair? This is just the beginning, once I'm done with the human race, you guys are next!"

Light burst out from the bodies of the two people that the claw sent crashing to the ground, and their injuries started to heal at a speed visible to the human eye. Before long, they returned to their original state.

"Thank you, Lord Ezkel, for your grace." They bowed to the crowned winged man.

The crowned winged man nodded at them, but his expression was still grave. He didn't think the Demon King would be this powerful. During the first battle, the Demon King ambushed the Lord and was able to send him back to their realm. Since the Demon King had to resolve to using such underhanded tactics, he felt he was close to the level of the Demon King. Only after the start of the battle did he understand that he was gravely mistaken. Two humans had been killed by the Demon King already, and they were ranked at the peak of strength in the human race.

The eyes of Ezkel changed, and he glanced at the two winged men by his side, "We'll have to summon the Lord back."

"Will he even give us that chance?" One of the winged men asked.

Ezkel looked around, his gaze landing on the two humans who had made their way back to them.

"We will hold him back while Lord Ezkel summons the Lord back."

The duo gritted their teeth. They knew fighting against the Demon King alone was no different from a death wish, but they could do nothing about it. Ezkel and the other two were the only ones who could summon the Lord back. Without the Lord, the Demon King was practically unrivaled.

Ezkel nodded, he didn't see anything wrong with what the duo wanted to do. If they stopped fighting, then the destruction of the human race would be imminent.

The trio started to say incantations while light burst from their bodies, piercing into the sky. They started working immediately; delaying would only bring trouble.

When the Demon King saw them taking action, he was alerted. He didn't hear their conversation due to Ezkel setting up a barrier. However, seeing them take action, he knew what they wanted to do.

He was about to attack when the two humans blocked his path, with both hands clasped together, they said their chants at the top of their voices, and an array considerably bigger than what they used the first time appeared. Also, their bodies visibly dried up.

"Get out of the way, ants!" The Demon King was furious when he saw the people blocking his path.

A stream of black flames shot at the duo.

"Holy Water!" The pair yelled simultaneously, and the array in the sky sent out a stream of water, trying to block the flames sent by the Demon King.

The fire and the water collided, causing steam to rise.

The faces of the duo turned pale as they tried to block the fire.

Seeing that his flame didn't break through, the Demon King snorted before expanding his body.

He grew to over ten meters and threw a punch at the array.

The array that had blocked the flame shattered from the punch.

The fist didn't stop there, it continued crashing down and hit the duo's body.

Blood spilled out of their mouths as the fist shattered their bones.

Ezkel, seeing their situation, was forced to send out a stream of light from his body as he tried to heal them.

Even though he knew they would not be able to stop the Demon King, he had to ensure they could at least delay him until they opened the passage.

The Demon King blocked the passage so that those from their realm could go out but could not come in. If the trio felt the danger of death, they would leave immediately. They still think there was some hope in defeating the Demon King.

The shattered bones of the duo healed in a blink, but they were once again crushed. This time, the pain was so unbearable that the duo shrieked hysterically.

"Die!" The Demon King was agitated. He could see that the passage had already started to open up.

Given the speed, he could tell that it was being opened from this side and the other side.

Ezkel's healing could not keep up with the destruction of the duo's bodies. He soon gave up, and the duo fell to the ground.

Their eyes were already listless, and although they were still barely alive, it was obvious that their mental state had been shattered. They had to endure the pain of having their bones and body crushed over a hundred times in a second. The pain even sent them into shock.

The Demon King raised his hand, and with his bare hands, he grabbed the space that started to open up.

"I'll not allow you to come back to this place." He said with viciousness flashing through his eyes.

Ezkel and the others didn't stop their chants. There was nothing the Demon King could do to stop them at the moment, if he dared to let go of the portal, it would enlarge, allowing the Lord to step into the Human World.

"Asura, why do you have to be so stubborn?" An ethereal voice came from the other side of the portal.

"I do whatever I want to do. Get lost!" Demon King Asura said coldly, forcibly closing the portal.

A sigh came from the other side of the portal, and with the sigh came an overbearing power that gushed out of the portal, forcing Demon King Asura to let go of the portal.
