Starled, Jiang Yuyan hugged him back as she stayed quiet.

Jiang Yang and Noah looked at each other and left together to go inside the home, leaving these two alone. 

After hugging her for a while and letting himself feel calm, he moved his face back to look at her. He looked at her as if he was seeing her after so long. He let go of the jacket from his hand and moved his both hands to cup her pretty face in his hands as he looked at into her twinkling eyes.

"I missed you, Yuyan."

Not letting her say a word, he kissed her. He missed her terribly and now he wished to make up for it. He wished to feel she was there with him and everything was fine between them.

Though it was not that long since he had not seen her still it felt like an eternity to him when he could not go to her when she was just in the same home. He could not hug her, could not touch her or talk to her properly. Not like she stopped him but the situation did it. She was in pain from her past and he didn't wish to be selfish by asking for her attention and her love. 

Though he was tired, he kissed her for a long and she gave into that needy kiss as she missed him as much as he did. 

When they stopped, Jiang Yuyan looked back into those eyes that longed for her, "I missed you too."

That's the best thing he had heard in the entire day and kissed her back. Jiang Yuyan reciprocated his kiss the same way as she was happy that he was back…he was back to his old self…he was back to her…

When they stopped, Lu Lijun gently wiped her wet lips with his thumb and asked while looking into those pretty eyes, "Were you waiting for me?"

She nodded, "I was worried."

"I am glad you did," he said and pecked on her forehead, "I want you to wait for me like this every day that will come into our lives after this."

"I will," she assured as she understood the underlying meaning. 

He wished them to be together like this always and never to part away ever again. The atmosphere around them turned calm and gentle which had nothing but two hearts beating for each other having nothing but pure love for each other. 

"Did you eat anything?" she asked, looking gently and worried at him. 

Her voice was soft, gentle and caring and this side of her she had never shown him. She had always cared for him but her way of showing it was different just as his guardian but now she was someone who loved him dearly as his woman.

He shook his head to say he had not eaten anything. 

"Let's go inside and eat first," she said and held his hand to take him inside the home. 

Once they reached the drawing room, Martha welcomed them. "Fourth Young Master, good to see you back. Get fresh and have dinner. I have prepared everything that you like."

He nodded and Martha left to go to the kitchen. 

Jiang Yuyan looked at him, "Do you want to freshen up?"

He nodded, "Hmm."

"Go Ahead. I will wait for you here," she said and was about to let go of his hand but he held her hand back. 

She looked at him questioningly to know what happened and heard him say, "I am tired."

Jiang Yuyan understood what he meant and walked with him to go upstairs as she held his hand like he was a little kid and she was leading his way. 

Lu Lijun looked at her and felt happy to see there was no need for him to say anything and she understood while being ready to do what he wanted. It felt good to let go of his strong side and give up in front of her to let her take care of him. 

They reached the room while still holding hands where Lu Lijun followed as if he would blindly go anywhere she would take him.

They stopped in front of the wardrobe, "I'll get your clothes," and Jiang Yuyan wanted to let go of his hand but he being a stubborn kid did not let go of her hand as if saying she can just use her other free hand and he won't let go of her hand. 

Jiang Yuyan said nothing while she opened the wardrobe and pulled out his clothes. Holding his t-shirt she looked at his free hand, "Hold it."

Lu Lijun did so and one by one she pulled out his other clothes, the pants and undergarment and put them in his hand. 

He looked at the clothes in his hand and said, "You sure know what I wear and you are not embarrassed even.

"Those are just clothes that every man wears?" She commented which reminded him of his own words from a few days back when he was holding her undergarments and said to her that it's just clothes that every woman wears. 

"You hold grudges," he commented, smiling at how easy-going and carefree she was instead of being shy.

"I sure do, so you be careful," she replied and took him towards the bathroom while holding his hand which he didn't want to let go.

Once they reached inside the bathroom she got clothes from his hands one by one and arranged them on the shelf so he could wear them after the bath. 

She then turned to look at him, "If you let go of my hand, I can leave you to have a bath."

Instead of letting it go, he squeezed her hand gently as his intense gaze looked at her intently, "You are not allowed to leave."

His words and that gaze made her shiver and felt her body covered in goosebumps.

'Not allowed to leave? Then?'
