Finally, after weeks of practice, it was actually Talent~fest day!
"CEO, follow me this way!" The secretary was leading the CEO to their private seating area to watch the Talent Fest .
Because of the CEOS dislike for other people, the secretary reserved a whole private seating section just for the CEO to use and enjoy . . .
There was no way the CEO was gonna miss this 'Mei and Ali's' performance . After all, the one called 'Mei' had taken his interest, not to mention he also wanted to figure out who this 'Ali' was that would actually be preforming with 'Mei' .
The CEO smirked to himself
'Now I wonder . . . Ms . Hacker Mei . . . do you really have any other talents BESIDES hacking?? If so . . you are an EXPERT at catching my attention . . . Depending on how good you are, I might even grow attached to you! Haha now THAT would be funny . . '
"HELLLOOOO EVERYBODY!!! ARE YOU GUYS READDDDYYYYYY??????????" The announcer for the contest was on stage, trying to rile up the crowd and get them excited
"YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" a loud cheer ripped through the crowd, not showing any signs of stopping .
"FOR THE FIRST ACT OF TONIGHT . . . WE HAVE . . . . "
The announcer wanted to create suspense, but it was actually just torturing the crowd
"HURRY UP ALL READY OLD MAN! COME ON!!! PLEAASSSEEE IM DYING OVER HERE IF YOU DIDNT NOTICE!!" A guy had stood up and shouted this, and following after, several others also shouted very similar things . .
"Ahem . . FOR THE FIRST ACT OF TONIGHT WE HAVE A NEWLY STARTED BOY BAND CALLED THE HUSKYS!! THEY WILL BE PREFORMING THE SONG CALLED ℰ𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝒷𝑜𝒹𝓎 by the BACKSTREET BOYS!!" the announcer quickly left the stage .
After everybody had quieted down, some handsome men walked onstage .
This, of course, made a bunch of women shout out stuff to the group . Those women, just like the majority of earth, were always excited to see such handsome boys .
Same thing with the men, if they had seen a beautiful women, they also might be going crazy .
Of course, there where always exceptions, like Bisexuals for example . Both genders could easily get excited in the presence of handsome or beautiful people .
Then, the group of men started to preform the song ℰ𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝒷𝑜𝒹𝓎 .

Rounds of applause followed after the song finished .
Even during the performance there were some people singing along with them .
This boy band called Huskies definitely had a good voice, good voice, and also, a good body .
Finally, it was time to vote whether or not the Huskies should move on to the next round .
After the Group left the stage, the announcer came back onstage
"Wow! What a 𝓌𝑜𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓁 performance by the Huskies! Well . . . ITS TIME TO VOTE!!"
The voting was held online so that people that where watching the performance at home could also vote .
It was decided by majority, and if the performers had more people voting for them to pass rather than against them, then they would also go on onto the next round . The thing that made voting exciting and mysterious was that no one could see how many votes that person got until the very end .
The producers of Talent~fest often liked to draw suspense, so they always released the votes for every contestant altogether to stir up everybody watching . It was very climatic every year, some might even say its their FAVORITE part of the WHOLE show!
Most of the News reports on Talent~fest only talked about everybody's results and sometimes, if it was deemed good enough, they would even write a whole article dedicated to one performers show .
Authors note: Oh god that was a lot of words to type . . . I think that took me about a whole hour actually, wasn't really expecting that!!
I saw someone comment about the shortness of the chapters just after publishing last chapter so I decided to attempt to make them longer once more like I used to . . .
Also, back to me being uncreative . . I had no idea what song to use so I searched online "popular boy band songs" and just choose the first one I saw, which was of course, Everybody by the Backstreet Boys! I've never heard it before, but I still decided to use it! If you have a better idea for the song please tell me in the comments so I could change the song!
Tbh I don't really even know how popular the song "Everybody" is, I was just desperate for a song .
