Chen Feng looked back and recognized the person to whom that voice belonged.

It was Lin Min who had said those words to Chen Feng. She was also accompanied by Hao Jin who was looking at Chen Feng with disdain evident in her eyes. Both of them were the underlings of Chen Mian. They often used them to harass Chen Feng in high school.

Chen Feng lips curled up into a pouty smile.

"Shouldn't I be asking the same question from you? Lin Min-the illegitimate daughter of the Lin family. I wonder whose money did you spend to come to such a luxurious restaurant", the implication in Chen Feng words was irrefutable.

Chen Feng knew that Lin Min was dating some old aged sugar daddy. He let her use his money as she wished in exchange for bedding her.

"Is it your family money who is not even willing to recognize you...", Chen Feng said slowly with a wicked spark in her eyes, "Or your new sugar daddy...?"

"Chen Feng!", Lin Min blurted. She was taken aback when her perverted relationship was exposed in open. Her face blanched. There were a lot of rich socialites in that restaurant and Chen Feng voice was deliberately high revealing Lin Min identity of an illegitimate daughter as well as her unvirtuous actions to those ears who were already eager for gossips.

In the upper-class circle of people who visited such privileged restaurants, almost everyone was aware of each other's identity. So everyone knew about the identity of Lin Min. A swish of whispers dominated the air as the audience fervently discussed that new piece of information of Lin Min sugar daddy. Lin Min was mortified.

Chen Feng had a faint smile on her lips.

Wasn't Chen Feng used to be a quiet, demure girl? She would never retaliate and effortlessly yielded whenever Chen Mian and Lin Min bullied her back in high school. How did she come up with such a bold and audacious reply?

"Chen Feng that doesn't change the fact that trash like you is not worthy of such an elite restaurant, let alone the VIP table", Hao Jin barked defending her friend.

"Oh, it's you Hao Jin!", Chen Feng said faking immaculate sweetness and cheerfulness in her tone as her eyes held a roguish glint in them. Her voice held unparalleled charm as she didn't even spare Hao Jin from her venomous tongue. "Still having a nice time leeching off my bitch cousin?"

Using such foul language, Chen Feng was obviously not presenting a good example of an ideal woman who would practice proper etiquette like a noble lady and avoid the usage of bad words. And Chen Feng clearly didn't care about how her image was perceived by others.

She only cared for the fact that these people have tortured her through years and she had quietly endured for the sake of Fu Jiangou. To present a good image of her in front of him and her treacherous family. Now that she no longer had Fu Jiangou and her so-called family, she didn't need to fear anything. She was free to be herself.

"Chen Feng, you have gotten some guts. Haven't you? But don't forget who you are messing with", Lin Min snarled, feeling a rush of anger.

"Oh and who I'm messing with exactly", Chen Feng lightly said in a careless tone. Her voice held its typical charm and playfulness like she was dealing with a bunch of worthless dogs as she propped her face on her hand resting her elbow on the table and carelessly looked at them.

That effortless and elegant gesture further infuriated Lin Min.

"I'm the daughter of Lin family and..."

"The illegitimate daughter", Chen Feng corrected her mischievously.

"...Shut up!", Lin Min barked. Being called the illegitimate daughter was her weak spot. She felt like she was going mad with anger. By now the outburst had attracted quite an audience. Everyone was focused on them. Lin Min realized that she must teach that bitch a lesson and shouldn't lose face as a lot of people were watching them now.

"At least it is better than you! You were disowned by your family and discarded by your fiance", Lin Min said and chuckled scornfully.

Mention of Fu Jiangou's betrayal did pull at some of the strings in her heart. After all, she had been naively in love with that bastard for the last five years.

But everything happened for the best. She was happy that she got rid of that hopeless egoistical person sooner. If she was to cluelessly get in marriage with that person, she would only be abused and taken advantage of for the rest of her life.

"Now you are silent?", Hua Jin initiated. She also deeply despised that wench Chen Feng and wouldn't miss a chance to lash at her. "Don't you think we don't know about your financial status? You don't even have a job and you are disowned by your family. How can someone poor and destitute as you afford to even step in a place like this?", Hua Jin said. She remembered correctly how Feng Chen had just humiliated her, "It is clearly you who is leaching off some rich person by selling your body"

Chen Feng definitely didn't want to waste her time to explain to those idiots that she happened to get proposed by the heir of the Li corporation.

She simply didn't bother to give spare them a glance as she opened the menu. Taking the notice of her indifference and realizing that they wouldn't be able to elicit a response out of her, they both let Chen Feng off.

"I'm disappointed in the quality of the service in this restaurant", Lin Min declared in an arrogant tone walking to their table.

"True. How can they let trash like her enter the restaurant at her will? It is clearly such a blemish on the restaurant good name. How can they lower their standards like this"

"I must inform this to my father. After all, he invested a lot in this restaurant"

"That would be great sister Lin!", she bitterly said, "Why don't you complain about it to the assistant manager right now? He is always eager to flatter your father. I'm sure he would listen to you and kick her out"

"Yes, that would be great. I'm sure he wouldn't deny my request", Lin Min said as pride and excitement manifested in her voice. She could almost imagine Chen Feng being kicked out humiliated when she sneered at her, "After all, my father is one of the investors of this restaurant"

Chen Feng who has been sitting leisurely without getting bothered by their drivel at all chuckled slightly anticipating a great show ahead.
