"It can't be her!", Liu Chao was the first to say that.
Marry her?
Why would someone like Li Luxian marry an status-less, vulgar wench like Chen Feng?
"Of course it is her!"
"No, it was the girl with whom Mr. Li had a scandal yesterday"
"Could it not be her?"
"Yes, it's possible. I saw the same dress with Chen Feng as that girl in the scandal had on her"
"I think that's right. Chen Feng came home late last night. She had probably gone to a club. So the girl in the scandal must be her"

Meanwhile, she received a text from a private number.
"Tomorrow I'll be picking you up for a date at 8 pm. Be ready wife. And our marriage is postponed for a week"
Chen Feng's lips curled up as she texted back.
"You know Mr. Li? We are not married yet and I'm not your wife"
A reply came quickly.
"Why are you planning to back out now?"
After a second, another message came.
"You have already signed the contract. So don't think about backing off now."
And Chen Feng knew that she was already in the clutches of that man. She had never thought about backing off. If heavens were throwing a golden opportunity at her, she would not be ungrateful and thick-headed to reject it. Chen Feng could already think about the ugly faces of all those of her family, especially Chen Main, upon hearing the news that she was marrying Li Luxian.
Her lips curved up into an evil smile as she imagined them vomiting bouts after bouts of blood once realizing that the daughter they abandoned was going to become the legal wife of the Li Luxian.
She laughed evilly thinking about the Fu Jianguo reaction to this news. Sure his pride would suffer a nice blow. She almost pitied him.
"Don't worry. I've made my mind and I won't go back on my word"
Li Luxian replied with a smiling and a winking, kissing emoji.
Chen Feng didn't know why but her heart fluttered as she looked at that emoji. She smiled and shook her head.
She couldn't believe that the personality of someone like Li Luxian could be like this. Anyone would expect him to be a serious, cold-hearted man whose mere presence could chill one to the marrow. But Chen Feng perceived him as a playful, flirty person.
"By the way this date? Is it to assuage your father's suspicion?"
"My wife is wise"
"Stop calling me wife"
"Sure wife"
"..."
"I'll take you out discreetly. We can't let the whole world know of us for now because there will be a lot of people wanting to hurt you. My father men would be following us for sure"
"Are you sure your father will not do anything against us?"
"He might object in the beginning but once we make him realize that we are deeply in love with each other, he'll support us"
"And how will we make him realize that we are deeply in love?"
"By putting a good act"
"By a good act, Mr. Li means...?"
"By acting intimately while his men followed us and of course giving my wife a lot of kisses"
That text was followed by a lot of red hearts and a kissing emoji. Chen Feng's face burned and she threw away her phone as if it was a hot iron rod.
Hot! She was so hot! She fanned her with her hands.
The idea of kissing that handsome person made her heart jolt. Weren't two kisses already enough? Did he think it was easy to handle a kiss from him?
She was sure that tomorrow he was going to torture her a lot.
Now she was going to die of embarrassment.
