She couldn't see herself at a disadvantage in this contract. If things wouldn't work out well, they could always get a divorce after a year.

Then Chen Feng reluctantly said.

"But Mr. Li could you exclude the term of the conjugal relationship between the married couple?"

Li Luxian was surprised to hear that. He had seen countless girls openly expressing their desires to sleep with him. But then his lips curled up into a smile.

"Why? You don't find my body attractive enough?"

She was speechless.

Of course, he was attractive. He was simply a god for his looks. Did he even need to ask that? But he couldn't expect her to sleep with him right after the marriage?

They needed to familiarize themselves with each other first!

That was a common-sense everyone with a relationship experience would know!

"It's not that. I think you might not be suitable..."

"If you are worried about my suitability and skills in bed then I can give you a guarantee.", Li Luxian said with a roguish spark in his eyes.

Chen Feng was speechless once again. A crimson red crept to her face. Where was this conversation getting to?

"And if you are still worried then I can also give you a test of my skills right now", as he said he loosened his tie a bit implying as if he was ready to take off his shirt any moment.

Chen Feng almost fell out of her chair.

At least take your secretary in consideration who is still standing here!!!

"Mr. Li I'll take my leave then", Secretary Zhang said with a stiff face and proceeded to leave her alone with his boss to give his boss some privacy to certify his skills.

"Wait! Mr. Li you don't need to give me any test.", she literally screamed, "I definitely do not doubt your skills!", she blurted out quickly. She couldn't believe that she was discussing bed skills with the heir of Li corporations.

Li Luxian laughed lightly at her exaggerated response.

Damn! He was teasing her!

"Why you want to take it out?"

Chen Feng took a deep breath. If she was going to marry this guy, she had to tell him.

"First I had never been close with a man to an extreme extent before and second...", Chen Feng was in a dilemma whether to reveal further or not.

Never been close with a man before? Li Luxian did find it a little unexpected for a girl who could dare to kiss a random stranger. But nevertheless, he was happy to hear this new piece of information that his wife was untouched and pure. Now he could corrupt her all he wanted.

"And?"

"My past relations had not been good and they all ended up horribly so I can't readily trust anyone. I need some time. I hope you understand"

It was already hard to share something like this because like an OCD something was always pressing her to keep her feelings to herself. She felt like if she was to reveal more of herself to anyone, she would get hurt.

Her boyfriend cheated on her.

Her parents left her.

Her family betrayed her.

Her cousin Chen Mian, who she loved and adored, now wished for her death.

Under the circ.u.mstances, she had closed herself up. She had grown alone with no one she could share herself with. Fu Liling was her only friend but after Fu Jianguo betrayal, Chen Feng's interaction with Fu Liling was minimized.

"I can understand", Li Luxian said, "And I won't force anything on you. We will take the things with their natural flow"

Chen Feng smiled.

Under normal circ.u.mstances, she would have waited to think it over for a day or two.

It was still too sudden but...

She was already cornered by adverse circ.u.mstances that surrounded her like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment. She had no choice left after losing her job and spending all her savings.

"What about your family? Would they be able to accept this marriage?"

"My parents might object first but they will eventually come in terms with this relation. My brother would love to meet you and fill your ears against me. As for my grandparents, it might be difficult to change their orthodox thinking"

An uncertainty clouded Chen Feng's face as she pouted slightly. Li Luxian found her reaction quite cute and had an urge to kiss those luscious lips. Eversinse that night, he couldn't get that kiss out of his mind.

"But you need to worry about that. As long as you have my support, no one will dare to bully you"

His words were assuring and strangely ended all of Chen Feng's anxieties. She took the papers in her hands and signed in her beautiful writing.

"So when are we getting married?"

Secretary Zhang took the contract and placed the papers cautiously in a file.

"Right now"

"What?", Chen Feng was stupefied.

"I had already booked for a wedding"

Chen Feng heart thumped. Ever since she was young, all she had wished for was a perfect wedding day with Fu Jianguo. After his betrayal, her hopes shattered and she abandoned all her ideas of even getting married. When her family forced that arranged marriage on her, she was even sickened by the word 'marriage'.

So now she couldn't help but feel her heart swelling with elation.

Even if it was just a marriage of convenience, she couldn't help but feel like a big step in her life.

Then she recalled something and said with a frown.

"How did you know that I will agree to marry you that you already booked to register the marriage?"

"Nothing can stand the strike of my charm Ms. Chen", Li Luxian said with a flirty smile.

Chen Feng couldn't help her lips tilting up.

"Let's go"

As Chen Feng stood up, something slipped out of her waist and fell down with a loud thump.
