Gu Yuan was still in a daze as he carried out the towel-dried boy from the bathroom.
Even in the face of that confession-inducing drug, he was confident that he could grit his teeth to maintain a glimmer of clarity. But that quick barely-there kiss had, against all reason, so easily thrown in him into complete disorder.
Obviously he knew that the teenager was probably just too happy about not having to do his homework but his heart was nevertheless moved by this overstepping intimacy. His heart that had once been so incomparably easily content suddenly began to grow greedy.
The other bed was in too much disarray to sleep in. Gu Yuan carried Lu Deng and placed him down lightly on the other bed. His eyes swept over the mess of tools to find medicine. His ears inexplicably grew hot and he hastily swept it all aside.
Lu Deng was a little curious, and leaned forward to take a look but Gu Yuan gently but firmly turned him back into his bosom and put pajamas on him.
The white and slender waist and back appeared in front of his eyes and was covered by delicate fabric.
Gu Yuan held his breath for a moment. He tentatively extended his arm, wrapping it around the boy, taking him into his arms. He lowered his head and pressed his cheek against temples of the boy who fit so snugly in his arms. “Are you sleepy?”
The system was still floating in the sea of knowledge and this kind of act of simple intimacy hadn’t appeared in any of the picture books the system used to lecture Lu Deng. Lu Deng was still immersed in the joy of not having to do homework. He let his eyes droop and nodded lightly.
Seeing that he didn’t resist, a light shone in the depths of Gu Yuan’s eyes. But he didn’t continue further. He simply drew closer to the young man and lay down on the bed with him.
It was almost midnight, and although he wasn’t clear on what Lu Deng had done when he was in a coma, he knew that it never would have been possible for him to endure so bitterly without his help.
He didn’t want to do anything now. He just wanted the other person to sleep well.
The boy was so sleepy that his mind was starting to turn fuzzy. He lay down, already half-asleep. Sensing the movement beside him, he still instinctively fumbled for the man’s hand, he intertwined their fingers together and set their hands by his side.
The pure white bandage flashed in front of his eyes and Gu Yuan’s eyes turned a bit hot. He held the boy’s hand and gently pressed it against his face. He carefully wrapped the young man in his arms.
At such a chaotic moment, Lu Deng still remembered to hold down his hands, lest he injure himself during his unconscious struggle. Despite half a night of torment, there were no new injuries on his body, but the boy who held him down was left with deep and shallow marks.
He must make sure to rest well for the next few days.
Lu Deng has his own bedroom in the villa. Strictly speaking, this was the first time they have lain in the same bed.
Gu Yuan held Lu Deng’s hand. His eyes wandered on they boy’s shoulders, on the young man’s relaxed and beautiful brows, on the corners of his lips raised a soft curve.
There was no harm in doing more of this in the future.
The room was so quiet that he could hear his even and deep breathing. Gu Yuan kept watch over him for a while. The weakness and fatigue caused by expelling the drug from his body surged up once again and finally, he closed his eyes and fell into deep sleep.

Lu Deng was awakened by the sound of the system’s in-situ explosion.
The empty bed was in a mess, the clothes were stacked on the ground, the bathroom was obviously used, the table was piled with indescribable tools, and the host had red marks that had yet to fade on his body.
The system, that had finally broken free from doing the homework directly panicked and turned into garbled code. Shaking its small alarm bell trembling-ly, it awakened its host who was sleeping in the arms of the mission target. “How far did you go?”
“How far?”
Lu Deng was still half asleep. He could barely understand the system’s query and he responded to it in his mind. “No need to do anymore homework…”
It’s over.

The host must have sold himself to get out of doing homework.
It had just finished answering the homework after much difficulty. The system shuddered so violently it almost crashed. Mending the fence after the sheep is lost, it sent a new volume of how to perform self-defense and brought it out.
Listening to the mechanical voice nagging in his head, Lu Deng suddenly remembered proper business. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, trying to interrupt it, “Don’t worry about that. I need a piece of the best quality Ning Shenmu. You can just deduct the needed experience points.”
The system was startled and was immediately worried. “Did the host not sleep well? It’s very possible that you wouldn’t be able to sleep well after your first time! It’s best not to do things like this too oft-&#k2026;”
Lu Deng wasn’t really paying attention to what it was saying but he shook his head slightly and his eyes fell on the still sleeping figure beside him.
Under the dim light of smart computer, the man’s dashing brows faintly revealed haggardness and weakness that was rarely seen when he was awake.
The after effects of the drug mainly affected the nerves. Fatigue, headache and dizziness were the most common reactions. If left untreated, the symptoms may persist his entire life.
The two of them were still clasping their hands. Lu Deng turned his wrist lightly and his fingers touched Gu Yuan’s wrist.
His pulse was still fast, but at least it had regained its regularity.
He had been too tired before and hadn’t taken care of inspecting the other’s condition. After some sleep, he was much better. Lu Deng carefully examined Gu Yuan’s body and compared it with the data collected when they had a bath. He finally breathed out a sigh of relief.
There weren’t any major problems left. With rest and nourishment, they can all be resolved. Lu Deng asked the system to help him buy a good-quality Ning Shenmu from the system’s virtual mall. He stored it in schoolbag for now and lay back down again.
He managed to fall back asleep but it didn’t feel as comfortable as before.
Lu Deng blinked in the darkness. Thought about it for a long while, and tried to move back into Gu Yuan’s arms. He was then was gently embraced by the still sleeping man and pulled deeper into his embrace.

Now, it feels right.
Happily wrapped up in warmth once again, Lu Deng let out a sigh of satisfaction. He lowered the volume of the system to its lowest level, raised his arms to embrace that extremely tired body and closed his eyes once again.

When Gu Yuan woke up, it was noon the next day.
He had prepared himself to endure the side effects of the drug, when he opened his eyes and the headache he was expecting didn’t hit. His body didn’t feel any discomfort, only that some points in his forehead were slightly swollen.
Gu Yuan didn’t immediately get up. He calmly retraced in his memory what he had done before going to bed. His slightly dissipated thoughts gradually returned and a figure suddenly zoomed across his mind.
His side was empty.
Gu Yuan suddenly stood up, ignoring the fierce dizziness caused by his too sudden movement. He was about to get out of bed when the shadow in front of him suddenly darkened.
The figure blocked the faint sunlight and the familiar warmth and tranquility came back. Lu Deng had one knee on the bed, both arms wrapped around him in a steady embrace.
His worried heart finally subsided but his heartbeat was still dizzyingly fast.
Gu Yuan calmed his mind. He closed his eyes and wrapped the other in his arms. His lips touched lightly the soft hair of the boy in his arms. He couldn’t help laughing, “I should really tie a bell on you.”
He usually didn’t feel that the boy was this quiet. But now that he was in crisis mode and his spirit was tense to the extreme, he realized that the young man in his arms really had the ability to cause people to overlook him.
That statement had come out of nowhere and Lu Deng raised his eyes curiously. Gu Yuan just shook his head with a smile and rubbed his hair. “You’re not sleepy anymore?”
“Not sleepy anymore.”
Lu Deng docilely leaned between his arms. He shook his head, thinking about it, he amended, “I sleep really well.”
Gu Yuan raised his eyebrows slightly and looked down carefully. The young man’s eyes are clear, his eyebrows were smoothed out into relaxed arcs, his complexion was good. He seemed to be well rested.
Maybe he really was old.
This completely off the mark thought flashed in his mind. The just recently independent head of the Gu Group, dispelled this emotion that suddenly welled up. He embraced the boy in his arms. He wanted to check the boy’s wrist injury, but his eyes were suddenly drawn to the object Lu Deng had in his hand.
It is a piece of burgundy wood with a strange luster, carved into the shape of a Pingan Kou. The edges were polished smooth and round, in the center was a tiny hole pierced through with a red string.
It turns out Lu Deng had gotten out of bed early for this.
His eyes swept across the boy’s figure and he found fine sawdust on the boy’s cuff. Gu Yuan lightly held his arm, trying to see if his injury was getting better, but Lu Deng’s nimbly flipped his wrist and slipped out of his hold.
Gu Yuan was startled slightly and lifted his gaze. Lu Deng already leaned over and knelt between his legs. He straightened his body and wrapped his arms around Gu Yuan’s neck.
A faint fragrance wafted to his nose and the slight lightheartedness he was feeling dissipated by a lot.
Gu Yuan was astonished. While the young man was tying the red string for him, he put his hands on the young man’s back. “Is this for me?”
Lu Deng nodded and emphasized, “You must always wear it.”
Ning Shenmu was a very precious resource in the interstellar world. Only a few planets were capable of producing it. Although the Gu Group was extremely wealthy, the import and export channels of Planet Galileo were being blocked by the Guars. Relying on his power alone, it would be difficult for Gu Yuan to get hold of such a thing.
Lu Deng had no shortage of experience points. He specially told the system to buy the root part of Ning Shenmu. Although it was more expensive, the effect was obvious to see.

Gu Yuan got up and out of bed. He picked up their clothes and threw them into the dry cleaning machine. He glanced across the room and he couldn’t help silently laughing.
Though he hadn’t done so intentionally, he had reaped some benefits. Last night, the room was messed up until this point. Not to mention whoever took advantage of sending over breakfast to sneak a peek inside the room, even Gu Yuan himself felt that he must have done something particularly extreme last night.
Now that they’ve gotten what they wanted, the Guars should have no reason to stop him from leaving. However, he’s already gone this far, he might as well perform the entire play.

It was close to noon by the time President Gu, who in his drunken state indulged in pleasures of the flesh with his little lover last night , got up and carrying his little lover, who was probably unable to move, left the hotel looking very satisfied.

But at this point in the game, the Guars no longer had any use of him and the Galilean Resistance wholeheartedly wanted to kill him. The shaky balance that had once existed had been broken by a single desperate move. He really couldn’t let down his guard.
He drove the levitating car to turn several corners, going round in a complete circle. As before, their tails was still behind them.
He turned on the smart computer’s scanners. A small laser weapon had been detected and the smart computer buzzed with an alarm. Gu Yuan’s heart tightened, the look in his eyes deepening.
The people following them were bad news.
After looking at the map, Gu Yuan popped out the control panel and whispered to Lu Deng, “After we round this street corner, I’ll speed up and temporarily shake them off my back. You take this chance to get off the car and go to house. Wait for me there. Don’t run around. Once it’s safe, I’ll come pick you up. Understand?”
Undoubtedly he couldn’t go back to the villa now. Someone was chasing after him and refused to let go. If Lu Deng was with him, he might be involved.
He had long thrown him life in with this gamble. As long as Guar’s ambitions for conquest could be turned to nothing, his death was a small price to pay. But the young man beside him was a different matter.
Gu Yuan wouldn’t easily let Lu Deng go. But in times of danger, he wasn’t going to willfully drag the other into a risky situation.
Having also received the system alarm, Lu Deng did not ask much. He nodded silently and squeezed his hand.
Gu Yuan pressed the accelerator button and instinctively turned sideways. He met the young man’s unobstructed, unhindered clear eyes and an uncontrollable turbulent feeling suddenly surged in his chest.
“In case–”
His voice suddenly became a little dry and hoarse. His chest rose and fell slightly. It seemed he mustered enormous self-control to steady his mind. He stopped what he had been about to say and place a cherished and heavy kiss on the boy’s forehead.
Now was not the right time yet.
If he could live, live and continue living, he would tell those words to Lu Deng himself.
The boy in his arms did not seem to have any other reaction to the kiss. Gu Yuan lowered his gaze, and Lu Deng looked up at him, still waiting for him to finish speaking.
Gu Yuan chuckled quietly. He rubbed the excessively quiet boy’s head. He crooked his finger and lightly bumped the boy’s nose. “If I get home tonight, I’ll be sure to tie a bell on you…”
The car went as fast as it could go.Showing off its skills, the levitating car threw off their tail in the blink of an eye.
Gu Yuan still held Lu Deng firmly in his arms. His eyes fell on the young man. With one hand, he quickly pressed a few buttons and the levitating car flicked to a halt, almost creating an ear-piercing sonic boom.
“Wait for me to pick you up.”
Gu Yuan spoke warmly and then he firmly pushed Lu Deng off the levitating car.
Before their tail could catch up, he quickly took the lead and sped off in the opposite direction.
